This Crackle Sapphire piece has been created with australian clay and is Raku fired to 1120 degrees, then placed into combustible materials to achieve the silver effect. Or left in the open air to achieve the bright blue colour.
This piece was wheelthrown, therefore each is unique and cannot be recreated.
All pieces have been sealed to be waterproof. Care should always be taken as though they are fired they are still delicate pieces.
